Like many buildings left behind by Poland’s post-communist era, the former Pabia complex in Pabianice had gradually fallen into decline, despite its prominent presence within the city.

The concept was developed around the idea of giving the existing structure a new life rather than replacing it. The original building was transformed and expanded to accommodate contemporary office and commercial functions, while preserving the scale and memory of the former complex.

New architectural volumes, extensive glazing, natural stone, and a contemporary façade were introduced to create a clear contrast between the building’s industrial past and its new identity. The additional upper floors increase the usable area while giving the development a stronger presence in the city skyline.
